I just love having a jar of infused calendula oil in the house as it's such a versitile products to have for healing.
Calendula oil is a super-effective topical oil for cuts, grazes, dry skin & acne. It also makes an excellent base for salves, or it can be used alone as a luxurious massage oil.
Calendula is non-irritating, gentle and cooling and effective for healing the skin fast. It ranks up there with aloe as the best thing to put on sunburned or wind-chapped skin. It's also a great oil to use after showers, on sensitive skin.
Almond oil may be substituted for olive if the oil is to be used primarily for skin care.
Dried flowers are needed when making calendula oil which you can purchase from
Dried flowers have to be used as too much moisture in the petals can cause the oil to go rancid.
Happy making y'all,
